Parent Drop off and Pick up

Parents dropping off and picking up students before and after school will use the entrance into the smaller parking lot on the east side. As you enter please flow into one lane along the curb.

Due to safety concerns we do not want students getting out of their car if they are in the middle lane. The middle and outside lanes are meant for parents to access once they have dropped off their kids and are leaving the parking lot. This should help the traffic flow.

If you are dropping off or picking up please make sure you pull all the way to the front even if that means a slightly longer walk for your child so we can accommodate all parents. In the morning it is also helpful if your child is ready to exit the car when you pull up anywhere along the curb. Please do not wait until you are directly in front of the school. Once you stop, your child is expected to unbuckle and exit the vehicle.

If you need to get out of your vehicle you should pull into one of the parking spots and walk you child across the cross walk to the curb. DO NOT send your child walking through the parking lot alone. Thank you for helping make these busy times of the day run smoothly.

Parent Drop Off and Pick Up Adult Behavior

We understand that student drop off and pick up times can be stressful. It is important to always model positive and appropriate behavior. At Parkview we encourage students to treat others as they want to be treated. Please remember this as you are dropping off your child. Safety of the students is our number one priority during these busy times. Thank you for your help keeping our students safe.

Each family will receive a copy of the directory later this fall, regardless if information is supplied.

Volunteers needed!

We are still in need of some additional committee coordinators. Volunteers are vital in making these events happen. All events can be coordinated by several people. All events are planned with the support of past planners and the PTO Board. Please check out our Sign Up Genius page to see if there is something you would be willing to help out with!

Parkview Fun Run

This year's main fundraiser is the Parkview Fun Run! It's a two-week program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on October 1st. Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps) at the Parkview Fun Run, which will happen on October 10th. This year our goal is to raise $25,000 and we need your help! We've asked the experts at Booster to power our fundraiser to make it easier, more profitable, and more fun.

PLEDGING OPENS IN ONE WEEK!
Help us reach our fundraising goal!

Parent Action Steps:
  1. Register your student(s) on FUNRUN.COM on 9/24
  2. Reach out to sponsors by sharing your pledge link. (All pledges and payments are made online.*)
  3. Cheer on your student at the FUN Event on 10/10

Run & Done Collections
  • EASY for everyone! Sponsors pledge and pay online, saving our volunteers 50+ hours and helping our school collect more pledges faster.
  • Sponsors can either make a pledge per lap or a flat donation. If they make a pledge per lap, their credit card is charged after the Event.
  • *Cash and check payments are still accepted. Must be turned in according to school policy. Your student will still get credit for the pledge or donation.

Thank you for your support of our school!
