These school holidays, bring your family and friends, and join lion cubs Simba and Nala as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age story.

Be astonished by the soaring voice of Rafiki, hiss at villainous Scar and his hungry hyena gang, laugh at the antics of Timon and Pumbaa, and cheer on Simba, as he grows up, learns to believe in himself, and fulfills his destiny as king of the Pridelands. This vibrant tale has captivated worldwide audiences, and the show features songs by Elton John.

If you saw our junior production of ‘Cats Abridged Edition’ in May, you’ll know the amazing dancing, singing and acting abilities of our Regals children’s casts.  See striding giraffes, hunting lionesses, glowing fireflies, stampeding wildebeest and leaping gazelles.

This truly community musical society has been supported by cast parents and local businesses to create the sets and costumes that will bring the African savannah and its animals to life on stage.

The cast and production team have farewelled their rehearsals at Carlton Scout Hall, and will be bumping in at Rockdale Town Hall this weekend, to begin the final countdown of dress rehearsals before opening night next Friday 27th September. Come and see what they've achieved together!

We have 10 shows in total; five for each cast over two weekends,
with a mid-week show on Wednesday 2nd October.

The "Cubs" (the younger junior cast) and the "Lions" (the older youth cast) are each performing 5 shows on different nights, opening with the "Cubs" and closing with the "Lions".
