Drivers have a challenging job and we love them for it! They navigate traffic, road conditions and weather every day. They also want to make sure every stop is safe and satisfactory! There are a number of things you can do to help your deliveries go smoothly and safely. We've created a guide to serve as a training tool and poster for your program to help volunteers and staff navigate deliveries.

Pat Ollhoff from the Belle Plaine Food Shelf and Karla Bauer, Food Rescue Specialist, presented the Coborn’s store with a certificate showing that they’ve donated 29,803 meals to their community from July 2018 to July 2019 through the food rescue pounds collected. Many of the Coborn’s staff have volunteered with the food shelf and currently the Store Director, Josh, serves on the food shelf Board of Directors.
The Banner Agency pictured above is the Pierz Area Food Shelf. Pat Zimmerman is pictured outside the food shelf showing off their new sign and standing on a new handicap accessible ramp recently added with support from the community. The food shelf served about 52 households a month in 2018.
