Conference Evangelist Eric Freking began a new Unlock Revelation Series in Noblesville. Working with the Cicero SDA Church, more than 96 people attended the first night. The series will continue until mid-October. After that Freking will go north to present a series at the Elkhart SDA Church.
More than 60 guests attended the Unlock Revelation Series in North Vernon earlier in September. Thirteen people have requested to join the church, and their baptisms will be held in November. Freking reports that around 20 people are still coming to their weekly Daniel studies.
Cicero Church is unique, in that it not only has a church elementary school in the church family, but also an academy. On Sabbath, August 31, during the first part of church, Pastor Aaron Clark had all the teachers in the congregation come to the front, and he talked to them about the responsibility and privilege that their lives have and how they represent Jesus to the many children and youth in the church. Pastor Clark then prayed a dedication prayer for all the teachers in the congregation.
Hispanic Coordinator Victor Jaeger reports that he has started the Lay Adventist Seminary sponsored by Andrew Theological Seminary. On September 7 they offered a Bible Instructor certification class. Dr. Ricardo Norton came to inaugurate the class. In the afternoon they initiated the new Youth Adventist Federation FEJAH for Indiana, where all the Youth Directors gather together. They elected their new administration team.
Pastor L. Chawngthu from the Indiana Mizo SDA Church in Greenwood performed a very special baptism at Oshkosh Pathfinder Camporee this summer. He baptized his sweet 13 year old daughter, Lalduhsaki.
Isaiah 55: 11. New King James Version (NKJV)
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Blessed Savior,
Your words are true and sure and an oasis of strength and refuge to the ear of your children. Praise be to the God of Heaven, who knows our needs and supplies them, according to His will.
We know that your prosperity is upon those who will stand still, listen, and obey your word. Help us Father, and thank you for your steadfast mercy. You are a joy to our souls.
Amen
