October has arrived! Here's what's happening at the Museum.
Calling Collingwood Collectors!

We are looking for collections to feature in our Community Collectors exhibit case in 2020. This is a great opportunity if you have a collection that you want to share with the community.

Big changes are coming to our gallery!

Museum staff are busy dismantling our Tools and Trades of Shipbuilding exhibit in preparation for the next stage of our gallery redesign.

We are asking for community input for our upcoming exhibit on the Side Launch! Can you describe the Side Launch using one word? Words contributed will help us capture the emotions, tasks and general atmosphere associated with a launch.

What's your word?
Stop by the museum or email us to contribute your word!
Did you attend this year's Shipyard Social? If so, we want to here from you! Complete a short survey to help us plan for next year's event.

The survey can be accessed at:

We think some parents may have forgotten that this Friday is a PA Day! Customer service staff will be available to register children ages 6-12 for our Fall-tastic Fun, PA Day Program until 8:30 this evening. If we don't meet our minimum registration requirement, this program will be cancelled.

Register by phone 705-444-2500 or in person at Centennial Aquatic Centre (451 Third Street). Please note this program will be taking place at Central Park Arena.
The popular Collingwood Terminals mug is back in stock! Each of these ceramic pieces is handmade in Collingwood by artist Kristy Wilson. These won't last long, so get yours before they're gone!

Mugs are $40 +HST (membership discounts do not apply)
Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Museum booth at the GNE to say hello! We are already looking forward to next year's fair!
