Field Recordings Launches Tonight

Hey folks, its a big milestone for us tonight, the launch of our first album at the Memo Music Hall.

The action starts at 7.30pm and there's still a few seats and standing room tickets left. It's the biggest grandest gig we've ever done and we're pretty excited.

We are looking forward to hearing our support acts Delsinki (8.45pm start) and the debut of Edie McAsey and Archie Shannon (8pm start), both are brilliant so get there early.

Blackbirds are onstage at 9.30pm.

We will also be joined by Edie singing backing vocals and Field Recordings producer Cam Mckenzie on wailing lead guitar. The rehearsals with these two have been sounding fantastic and we can't wait to hear it all come together.

We will have the record on sale on vinyl and CD and, for the first time ever, T-shirts.

If you pre-paid for a copy through the Pozible campaign please pick up your stuff at the merch desk.

Pozible ticket buyers, your name will be on the door list, just explain to the Memo's lovely door ladies.

We hope you're having as much fun as we are today and Let your Freak Flag Fly!!! - Blackbirds.

Edie and Archie, first show ever tonight and they're playing a 90% originals set - pretty impressive. Gina reckons they sound great too.
