Get involved for community-driven renewables with TRB
Join us as we finalise arrangements to become an Incorporated Association - Tuesday 8 October 2019 - free
Totally Renewable Beechworth is happy to invite you to a meeting on Tuesday 8 October from 5:30 to 6:30pm.

We will lay out the steps we have taken to become an Incorporated Association, and how your input is needed to make Beechworth/3747 totally renewable by 2030.

This meeting is a first step as an Incorporated Association, which allows us to be more effective as a community-driven initiative to deliver renewable projects and take control of our own energy generation and use.

If you are curious where we are going, and especially if you want to get involved to make our energy future more local and sustainable – as a member of the management committee, a subcommittee member, or a supporting member – we look forward to seeing you.

Come to the free screening of 2040 - a compelling vision for our common future

Come see the movie 2040 on 20 September for free at the GK Hotel, Mayday Hills.

This dramatised documentary shows what the future could be like if we embrace readily-available solutions for a healthy planet. Community groups, including Totally Renewable Beechworth, Plasticwise, BULS, the Beechworth Food Co-Op and Quercus show their work from 5:30pm onwards, and the movie starts at 7:00pm.

The movie 2040 is shown on the day of the Global Climate Strike, which demands governments do more to tackle the global climate crisis.

The movie is a family friendly event that is drug, alcohol and smoke free. Register your free ticket now!

Thanks to a mini grant from DELWP and very generous support from Simon Duncan, GreenEnergy videos we have launched the first of four new videos. You'll find this and more via our Facebook.
