Get a taste of our Mussar class that starts in November. Join us to experience the tradition of Mussar (character development) as we engage in the work of this holiday season and explore this spiritual tradition.

Open to Jews, non-Jews, people who grew up in interfaith families and those considering conversion. The rabbis of Adath Jeshurun, Beth El and Sharei Chesed synagogues jointly offer this class. A Hebrew reading class with Rachel Levitt will teach phonetic Hebrew reading and home-based prayer skills (for foods, Shabbat home rituals, etc.) plus frequently used modern Hebrew terms.

Join Joy Riggs as she reads from her new book, Crackerjack Bands and Hometown Boosters, answers questions and signs books. The book is a memoir about family, especially her great-grandfather, who was a well-known bandmaster. Adath member, Ted Papermaster z’l, performed in one of her grandfather’s bands and is in the book.
