NAI Supports the Next Generation of Inventors!
NAI ENCOURAGING THE NEXT GENERATION!

This month, NAI was pleased to offer support to 250 scouts at their inaugural Invention Jamboree at Camp Hohn’s Sinquefield Invention Campus (Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri). The event encourages, inspires and celebrates America's young inventors by providing hands-on experience with inventive tools from 3-D printers to aerial drones!

NAI Fellow and Board Member, Robert Duncan, Ph.D., attended the jamboree as a visiting inventor and competition judge. “Many of these enthusiastic scouts will matriculate to our inventive universities, in part because Invention Scouts inspired them to do so. This is really fun, and it is great to see the NAI [support] the ‘pipeline’ of Inventors at this formative age,” shared Duncan.

Next summer, the camp will provide an Invention Scout start-up program for older scouts. Learn more about the Invention Scouts here.
Join NAI Member Institutions like Arizona State University, the Pennsylvania State University, and the University of Michigan who have added the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities' (APLU) Innovation and Economic Prosperity (IEP) Designation Program to their portfolio.

The IEP designation recognizes institutions that have demonstrated a meaningful, ongoing and substantial commitment to economic and community development.
