Does Your State's Policies Protect Children With Food Allergies and Asthma?

State policies can make a difference when it comes to creating a safe, inclusive school environment for your child. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) recently released their 2019 State Honor Roll™ of Asthma and Allergy Policies for Schools. Use the interactive map to see how your state ranks. Each state's profile shows what policies are still needed to make the health of children with food allergies and asthma a priority. (Kids With Food Allergies is a division of AAFA.)

ADVOCACY

Help Us Improve the Lives of Children With Food Allergies

It is easier to manage food allergies with encouraging support. When you support KFA, you give someone access to a recipe database of allergy-friendly recipes. You help a parent connect with other parents managing the same food allergies. You advocate for better protections for people with food allergies. You help a caregiver save a child's life through educational information.

Please consider supporting KFA. You can be part of our mission that makes a difference in the lives of families raising children with food allergies.

On Friday, Sept. 13, we will be presenting parent- and patient-reported data from our My Life With Food Allergy study to the FDA as they review the very first food allergy disease-modifying treatment. With your support, we can continue to advance research and share the voice of the people impacted by food allergies to policymakers.
