NEWS & HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE WEEK
Animal Kingdom to Join New Year's Eve Festivities
This year, for the first time, Animal Kingdom will join it's sister parks in celebrating New Year's Eve! Special activities are planned throughout the park. Let's take a look in more detail...

Throughout the night, you’ll find special New Year’s Eve-themed food and drinks, while DJs in Asia, Discovery Island and DinoLand U.S.A. will keep the party pumping!

As midnight approaches everyone can gather around Discovery Island and Asia to watch a special New Year’s Eve countdown on the iconic Tree of Life. Energetic music and lighting displays will welcome in 2020.

Guests can also get into the fun with special pin trading opportunities, plus a limited-edition New Year’s Eve pin available beginning that evening. Subject to change and based on availability.

Enchanted Rose Announced for Disney's Grand Floridian Resort  & Spa
This week we learned that Mizner's Lounge will be officially renamed to Enchanted Rose when it re-opens this Fall!

Mizner's Lounge has been closed as it undergoes renovations to a new Beauty and the Beast-inspired lounge, celebrating the magic and romance of Disney’s popular live-action movie.

I'm looking forward to this! While this newly themed lounge doesn't technically fit the Victorian theme of the Grand Floridian, Beauty and the Beast is one of my all-time favorite Disney movies and I look forward to seeing it come to life!
