Celemony ARA | Extended Support for Cubase & Nuendo Apply Melodyne to Multiple takes for Perfect Vocal Comping.
Steinberg has released updates for Cubase and Nuendo that extends ARA support, making perfect vocal comping possible. Comping is an important technique in vocal production where only the best vocal takes are combined together to obtain a final track that comes as close to perfect as possible. Comping also involves important musical decisions which is now much more easily accomplished with the new ARA updates. you can now apply Melodyne to all the takes before finalizing your comping decisions. This extended ARA support comes with the updates to Cubase Version 10.0.40 and Nuendo Version 10.2. Melodyne 4.2.3 or later is required. NUGEN Audio Update | VisLM V2.8.3.3 Flag Feature & Netflix LRA 18 Preset Added.
NUGEN Audio has updated VisLM loudness metering software. VisLM now offers a flag feature that further expands on the alert function found in previous versions. Users will now be able to navigate through True Peak and Short Term/Momentary loudness as well as manual flags for other points of interest. Also included with the update is the latest max loudness range (LRA -18) For Netflix productions.

The Density knob within the Unison section is a parameter that allows irregular detuning for unique unison sounds. You can simulate a "Supersaw" by turning the Density knob to the far right with the unison set to 7 voices, for more added depth use 9 voices. To simulate a "Hypersaw" turn the Density knob to the center. The ANA button must be turned off so the oscillator starts with a random phase position.
