Flowers on Sunday
Given in memory of Ann Jackman by members of the 8am Congregation, who passed away last month. She was a loved member of the 8 o'clock congregation and a server for 20 years.

Arrangements during the Dean's Long Service Leave
The Dean will away on Long Service Leave from 10 September, returning on 22 November. In his absence, the Ven Canon Heather Patacca will be Acting Dean, and the Canon Christopher Carolane will be Acting Precentor.

The 8am Service is on the move
Following on from our discussions at the recent Congregation Consultation around making the 8am service more accessible for new-comers, our six month trial continues, with the 8am service taking place at the nave altar. The move will be reviewed in February 2020.


Lunchtime Concert Series 
Join us this Wednesday 18 September at 1pm for our Lunchtime Concert, featuring an all Chopin piano recital by Hannah Shin. Entry by donation. 

Chant and Song Worship
4.30pm Sunday 22 September 2019 followed by 6pm Evensong. The Cathedral Singers lead unaccompanied worship in song for all to join. Director of Music, Philip Nicholls will lead a workshop on unaccompanied song to resource and encourage those who want to sing in worshipping communities where there's no one to play – and only a few to sing.

Cathedral Seniors
There is a meeting this Friday 20th September in the Barbara Darling Room. (Please note the change to a week earlier due to the AFL Public Holiday.)  Our speaker will be Mr Gerry George, Manager of Vermont Aged Care who will speak on understanding the mysteries of aged care. As always, everyone is most welcome to attend, irrespective of age.
