Irish Sailing News Roundup

Irish Sailing is the national governing body for sailing, powerboating and windsurfing in Ireland.

Nominations Are In and Competitors Confirmed 
for the 2019 IRISH SAILING ALL IRELANDS

32 sailors from 22 classes are confirmed @13 Sept 2019 and their crew details will be available soon.
Class champions will be competing together to find the "champion of champions".

  • The ALL IRELAND JUNIOR COMPETITORS 2019 will compete in Schull at the Fastnet Marine and Outdoor Education Centre on 28th and 29th September, sailing the Schull's very own TR 3.6
    double handed dinghies.
  • The ALL IRELAND COMPETITORS 2019 will compete from the National Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire on 5th and 6th October, sailing the slick Flying Fifteens.

Curious George Victorious at 5th St Elmo Trophy

22 teams from all over Ireland competed in the St Elmo Team racing event, hosted by Royal St George Yacht Club, with most of Ireland's top youth sailors enjoying sailing with and against each other in almost perfect team racing conditions.
