Curtis is an new employee at Edward Jones and is interested in becoming a Rotarian.
Ann is a Rotarian from Quinte Sunrise and has since moved to St. Thomas and would like to join our Club.

Club News 
- We received a letter of condolence from the St. Thomas Club.
- The grand opening of the Elevated Park was on Saturday, September 14, 2019. At this event a few members of STRCRC presented the first $10 000 for the musical instruments. 
- August Bingo amount received was approximately $1700.00
- Wade attended the Program kickoff for Eat2Learn with Charlotte McDonald. This year the school list is down to 31 schools, but the number of students assisting has increased. Last year they handed out approximately 1.5 million healthy snacks.

Fundraising

Dinner of the Month - $20 for $200, tickets will be available for sale staring mid October. 
Lottery License - compliance report completed
Fish Fry - May 2, 2020, ticket price will increase to $30 per ticket. We will continue to have fish balls, silent auction and 50/50.
Quarter Auction - look at possible dates next year.
Murder Mystery - Jan./Feb. have a social night in London to participate in a Murder Mystery. If we feel this will be successful we will plan on possibly hosting one next year.
Shamrock Shuffle - Paul, Scott and Sandy have a meeting with past hosts on September 25, 2019 @ 6:30pm.

Local Community Service - Sandy
Bahamas - Wade received a phone call that he passed on to Diane regarding items to donate to the Bahamas, Diane suggested Salvation Army.  Rotary is known for supporting community disasters with their Shelter Boxes and Aqua Boxes. 
Tree Planting - Wade suggested waiting to do a District Grant in the new year. Kettle Creek will look at location once we give them a dollar amount. 
Grace Cafe - Ginny will welcome any donation 
Apple Packing - 2 apple packing days: Eat2Learn, possible November 1 or 2, 2019 and Christmas Care, December 14, 2019 @ 9am at the Elgin Centre(support from Interact and possibly Victim Services Volunteers)
Misc. donations - on hold for future meetings.
Shamrock Shuffle -  Sandy, Paul and Scott are meeting September 25, 2019, @6:30pm.
Reach the Beach -  Wade will touch base with the new organizer regarding next years race.
Poppies - November 9, 2019 9am -3pm, 2 people 3 hr shifts
Inn Out of The Cold - Paul will look after scheduling again this year. Possible October 21, 2019 opening.

We have 5 confirmed interviews for Outbound students

Administration - Bill C
Speakers - We continue to fill speaker spots. November 27, 2019 - Shelter Boxes, December 4, 2019 Aqua Box. 
Bingo - STRCRC doesn't have a poster hanging up. Bill will look into one that was submitted by Brian last year and confirm size. Will also look into a picture. 
Membership Kits - FAQ, Application, Police Record Check Form, checklist
Halloween Party - October 30, 2019 at the CASO Station. Attendance is with a donation that will go to Polio. Invite Host families.

Diane and Bill are taking part in a Friendship Exchange. They are collecting baby items as well as any learning materials. If you have anything to donate please bring them to a meeting before the first week of November or make contact with Diane or Bill.
