On November 29, entrepreneurs and innovators from around the region will gather at the Union League of Philadelphia to attend the first Innovation Can’t Wait Celebration awards ceremony. Enjoy an exclusive evening featuring dinner and drinks with special celebrity guests… we can’t wait to tell you who will be in attendance!

Meet Drexel University’s rising entrepreneurs, hear inspiring keynote speakers and enjoy all the wonderful, delicious food innovations this year’s event has to offer. It’s also the only opportunity you’ll have to see the final round of the Incubator Competition and the culmination of the new Fund Run contest. Speaking of...

Fund Run kicks off - part of the new Alma Matters program

The Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship has partnered with Alma Matters to initiate an ongoing 3 part program to build and sustain vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystems. The Fund Run is a new, friendly contest held between student and alumni companies in the Baiada Institute to raise funds for their startups from now until Startup Fest. The winners will be announced at the event, so be sure to attend! Funds will be collected through the Flourish app - a secure and popular app that provides microdonation capabilities to our participating startups.

Outland Analytics catches Nvidia’s Attention

Nvidia is a world leader in computing technologies using AI and machine learning. They featured Outland Analytics in a cover story about how their startup is using AI to address a law enforcement shortage to protect the world's forests. "If a tree falls in the woods, AI will hear it".
