Announcing Saguaro’s Zoo Crew lunchtime meet-up in Room 131
We’ll be open every day and are so excited to welcome guests into our Zoo Crew! Come eat your lunch and play board games, movies, music, get homework help, charge your phone, etc… We want all students to feel connected and part of this awesome community. No student should sit alone!!! If you have a specific name to pass along, one of our Zoo Crew will gladly introduce themselves and personally invite him/her to come hang out.

HELP SHS Cheer Collect for Goodwill!
It is time to clean out your house, sheds, garages, businesses, classrooms, etc. Bring all of your donations to the Saguaro High School parking lot on September 21st. If you need help transporting some of your bigger items please send an email to jkinsey@susd.org and we will make arrangements for a pick up!
If you live in the area, bulk trash starts on September 16th. If these are usable items, bring them on the 21st or let us know and we will come and get them.

Saguaro High School Cheer
SUSD to Host Information Sessions on M&O Override Election at Saguaro High School Thursday, Sept 19 6:30-7:30 pm in the Library
This is an opportunity in our complex for the public to learn about the SUSD Maintenance and Operations (M&O) override election coming up Nov. 5.
Voters approved the current M&O in November 2014. The current override begins phasing out in the 2020-2021 school year.
The Nov. 5 SUSD election is by mail only: there will be no polling places for the SUSD election. In order to participate, you must be a registered Maricopa County voter. Voter registration for this election ends Oct. 7, 2019. Ballots will be mailed to registered voters who reside within SUSD.
It is recommended ballots be mailed back no later than Oct. 29, 2019 in order for them to arrive by Nov. 5.
YES TO CHILDREN will be available after the presentation ends with yards signs and magnets to promote the Override in your neighborhood.
Dedication of Student Murals in SHS Auditorium
We invite our community to a dedication ceremony on the evening of Wednesday September 25, at 7:00 pm in our auditorium. We will celebrate student-created murals now permanently hanging in our auditorium. Michelle Peacock, our art teacher, was awarded a grant last year which allowed students to plan, create, and produce these murals for Saguaro. Please come to help us celebrate this awesome achievement!
AP Exam Registration is now open!
The College Board has gone to a new format for exam registration- Students who plan on taking AP Exams in May of 2020 must register for exams in the Fall. Cost is $95 per exam and can be made online or in the bookstore. The deadline to register for exams is October 4th.
