LWVPBC ATTENDS RACIAL EQUITY INSTITUTE'S WORKSHOP
League chairs and officers attended the two-day Racial Equity Institute's workshop on September 9 and 10, 2019.  They participated in training designed to develop the capacity to better understand brokers; and the importance of definitions of race and racism. The goal? With shared language and a clearer understanding of how institutions and systems are producing unjust and inequitable outcome, we all left the training better equipped to begin to work for change.
