IA 101 drawings on display in Agnes Jones Gallery
Student works from Interior Architecture 101 are currently on display in the Agnes Jones Gallery, on the first floor of the CPS Building. The drawings reflect the freshman learning outcomes of
IA 101: Color and Design, a fundamentals course for all IA majors, where students learn the importance of the artistic elements such as lines, form and color and how they relate to space and objects. The three works by each student represent their study and techniques with these basic elements of design for various artistic and graphic effect.
Keep your eyes peeled for updated projects as the students develop more advanced techniques and applications later in the semester and culminating with a final project connecting all of their new skills with the design challenge of redesigning an important space on campus.
