Come and visit this truly magical island - just a short distance from the UK.  Embrace the beauty and charm of its laid back way of life and sunsets that will blow you away!

This bijou island might only be 25 square miles but with its sunny beaches, beautiful countryside and slower pace of life, it is hard not to fall for the enchanting Channel Island of Guernsey.

Nestling off the Normandy coast, Guernsey is the second largest of the Channel Islands and is a mix of both French and British cultures.  The island is probably best known for its stunningly beautiful scenery.

Away from the coastline with its golden beaches, hidden coves and rugged cliffs, Guernsey has a myriad of quaint country lanes, and rolling countryside where the famous Guernsey cows graze. Guernsey is renowned for its wonderful flora and fauna and there are many houses and gardens, which can be visited for free.

Discover more about one of Guernsey's most famous residents, Victor Hugo, with a visit to Hauteville House; the amazingly decorated  home of the 19th century French novelist Victor Hugo or learn how the German Occupation of the island during WW2 led to great hardship amongst the Islanders.

Another must see attraction is the “Little Chapel” in the rural parish of St Andrew’s.  The Little Chapel was a work of art and labour of love built by Brother Déodat, who started work in March 1914. His plan was to create a miniature version of the famous grotto and basilica at Lourdes in France. Standing at about 3 x 5 metres this little place of worship is decorated with stones, pebbles, broken china, glass, and donated items.  It is truly unique.

The capital of St Peter Port boasts quaint cobbled streets, Regency architecture and a picturesque seafront marina. It  is considered to be one of Europe's prettiest harbour towns.

HERM ISLAND
Castaway to an island of clear waters and golden sands, wild cliff paths, cosy inns and fine dining, pretty cottages  and a history rich is smugglers’ spoils and Prussian Princes.

Just a 20-minute boat journey from St Peter Port is the car-free island of Herm, a picture-perfect island with pristine white sand beaches surrounding its northern half, and rugged cliffs rich with wildlife in the south. This paradise island is just one-and-a-half miles long by half-a-mile wide, and is a must during your stay in Guernsey -  you’ll hardly believe that you’re still in the British Isles !   Enjoy beautiful, unspoilt beaches, sample island life, explore the natural coastline and take in spectacular views of neighbouring islands and the French coast.
