Armed Robbery Clontarf myPolice on Sep 13, 2019 @ 4:15pm
Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store in Clontarf this afternoon.

At around 12:30pm a man entered the business on Maine Road, armed with a knife.

He demanded money from a staff member, who complied with the man’s demands.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

Police are seeking assistance to identify the male offender and urge anyone with information to contact police.

Armed Robber Macgregor myPolice on Sep 13, 2019 @ 10:56am
Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station in Macgregor this morning.

At around 3 am a man entered the business at the intersection of Mains Road and Musgrave Road, armed with a metal bat.

He demanded money and cigarettes from a female staff member, who complied with the man’s demands.

He was last seen walking towards Musgrave Road.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is aged in his early to mid 20’s and had a proportionate build. He was wearing a dark padded hooded zip up jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

Armed Robbery Browns Plains myPolice on Sep 14, 2019 @ 2:02am

Police have charged a 20-year-old man following an alleged armed robbery at Browns Plains yesterday afternoon.

Just after 3:30pm, the man allegedly approached a vehicle that was left unattended for a short period of time at a car wash centre.

Staff confronted the man who then allegedly produced a knife and threatened them. He then drove off in the vehicle.

No one was physically injured.

The vehicle, fitted with a tracking device, was followed to an address in Browns Plains where he was taken into custody.

The 20-year-old Regents Park man was charged with one count of armed robbery.

He will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday, September 16.

Armed Robbery Waterford West myPolice on Sep 14, 2019 @ 4:43pm
Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza store at Waterford West last night.

Shortly before 10pm three men have entered the Kingston Road store, armed with knives and made demands for money from the 18-year-old female employee.

An undisclosed amount of money was handed over from the till and the men fled the scene. As one of the men left he smashed a glass door on the way out.

One of the men is described as having tanned complexion, a strong New Zealand accent, approximately 180 cm tall, slim build, wearing a green puffy jacket with white shirt underneath, black pants and black shoes.

He had brown eyes with his right eye having a distinctive brown spot.

The other man is described as also having a tanned complexion, wearing all black and approximately 170 cm tall, slim build, with his face and hands also covered, wearing a black bandanna and big black sunglasses.

The third man is described as Caucasian, approximately 180 cm tall, blue eyes, face also covered, wearing all black, and a slim build.

No one was physically injured during the incident and investigations are ongoing.
