So much is Happening!
The Piazza!  a project that began with energy and cooperation with neighbors and community members.

The GoodWill Youth corps were the first ones to “dig in”, followed by outstanding demolition and excavation effort from Peoples Gas, and surface prep from our friends at Evergreen.  Our thanks to each of them, and to Lee Initiatives for a grant that kicks off the Piazza project and enables us to engage paving and installation contractors.   We apologize for any inconvenience to shoppers and walkers on Gazebo Place.  It won’t be long before you see results.

An unrivaled collection of art and photographs from an arts patron will remain in the Gallery until the end of this week.  The value of the Art will continue to appreciate.  If you want to invest, or grace your home or office with something truly unique and beautiful, do visit the Collection.  The owner is willing to negotiate.

Tai Chi –the 5th of 6 classes.  Wednesday at Noon.  Not only is the class free, but it frees your mind and body to be one with nature.   Again, we thank the Senior Center for excellent instructors and their always gracious welcome to every participant.  Hang out with your friends afterward at the Tea Shoppe.

Kudos to Kathy Samay:  the Pied Piper of Plein Air Painters.  The merry group continues its Saturday sessions with Kathy keeping everyone informed of the place and time.  The grounds at the Community Arts Center are this Saturday’s site.  Last week ended up with a Southern Yankee barbeque, preceded by artists and audience at Laurelwood Care Center.  Suggestions are welcome for future sites.  Call the Gallery for Kathy’s information:  539-4345.

Downtown Johnstown Old Fashioned Bargain Days!  We can’t wait to share the excitement of the exhibit and activities.  Do stay tuned. The launch date is Thursday, September 26th, 4 to 7:00 PM.

It’s not too late.  If you have articles and photographs that you think could be displayed, do call 539-4345 or come in.  Monday-Friday 8 Am-3 PM.  You may also call for another time that is convenient for you.

The Gallery on Gazebo/Art of Tea is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:00 PM.
