Get 'Enchanted' - After Hours, Sep. 24
You are cordially invited to get 'Enchanted' at the Gibsons Chamber's first "Business After Hours" event on Tuesday, September 24th, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Enchanted Toys & Games (formerly Giggle 'n' Bloom) in Gibsons Park Plaza. While enjoying after hours refreshments, meet new owners (and new Chamber members) Brit Boyd and Jenny Lee Silver and check out the redesigned space. What better endeavour could a couple of  self-described tabletop gamers, nerds and joy enthusiasts have chosen as their next personal adventure?

It's a bit of a leap for Jenny Lee, whose background is "making internet." Partnering with Brit (a graphic artist/support worker/birth doula and longtime Giggle 'n' Bloom employee) meant both women could share their delight in the magic of childhood by creating an accessible, friendly community space in Gibsons for games, art and play.

Join us as we recapture the joy and magic of childhood "After Hours."

unique space for the families of her community where they can support each other, grow and most of all, play! and the owners are Brit Boyd and Jenny Lee Silver.  I would like to get something into September and with only 12 days until the 24th we need a heavy push to promote in newsletter, on facebook and wherever else we can.

Simple, affordable team protection

As of September 1, Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan members are the first in Canada able to access world-leading Teladoc Telemedicine Services, with 24/7 access to Best Doctors branded expert medical advice about complex conditions from cancer, heart disease and musculoskeletal issues, to a wide range of other medical issues.

“Plan members will see a real-world impact on their business from attracting top talent to reducing the impact of workplace absenteeism,” says Karen Grant, vice president, global product strategy, Teladoc Health.

With an enrollment of over 30,000 small to midsize businesses, the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan has been protecting Canadian firms and their employees for over 40 years. Combining accessibility, flexibility and the stability of pooled benefits, the Chambers Plan offers unsurpassed value and customer service. Quick to set up with the assistance of exclusive advisor support and user-friendly forms, the not-for-profit program offers stable, manageable premiums and speedy 48-hour claim processing.

it makes sense to opt in to the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan. A good benefits program is a key component in attracting and retaining good employees. In a 2016 survey,  77% of respondents said they would not move to a job that didn't include health benefits. And since Health and Dental premiums are a deductible business expense AND a tax free benefit for employees, opting in is a win for all.

The Insurance Plan is just one of many benefits available to Chamber members. Find out more: CLICK HERE.

EVENT CANCELLED
The proposed "Our Coast's Got Talent" event previously scheduled for September 25 at High Beam Dreams has been cancelled and will be rescheduled early in 2020. Watch this space for details!
