Fostering is a wonderful way to enjoy life with a dog without all the expense.
What is a foster Home?
A foster home is a halfway house where a dog transitions from a shelter or life on the streeet to a loving, forever home.
What does a foster parent do?
Fosters provide love, guidance and socialization. Fosters help dogs adjust to new environments, the sights and sounds that come with living in a home. Fosters also attend meeting and greet events where their foster pup has a chance to be seen by potential adopters
What does it cost to foster?
Dogs 2nd Chance provides all vetting, medicines, monthly heartworm/flea preventives, food, collars, leashes and crate if needed. Fosters provide transportation to veterinarian, meet & greet and other events.
