INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE: CLIMATE CRISIS IS A CONFLICT_

This Saturday 21st September is International Day of Peace and this year’s theme is Climate Action for Peace.

Diana Award recipient Bella Lack is a fierce advocate for eco-awareness and began her mission by speaking to her entire school about conservation and the dangers of palm oil. Since then, she has spoken at many conferences, chaired Parliamentary discussions and acted as ambassador for two environmental organisations.

LONDON NETWORKING EVENT_

Join us for our first evening networking event in London on Tuesday 24th September. You will have the opportunity to meet fellow recipients of The Diana Award as well as Diana Award Staff and engage with some inspiring speakers. Demand the Impossible is a three-month evening course on politics and activism for 17-25 year olds. It will be held in London on Thursday evenings from October - December 2019.

BBC Sounds are looking for young people aged 15-23 to share their first time experiences on Laura Anderson’s #First podcast. These first time moments could be the first ever epic party fail, your first travelling trauma or your first time standing up to a bully. If you’ve got a unique and interesting first time moment, they want to hear from you.
