More About the Program:
Guided by The Nature Place Day Camp's Outdoor Skills instructor, Joe Blevis, participants will learn primitive shelter building; how to make their own bowls and spoons, how to identify, harvest, and process local plants for survival; methods of fire starting; honing awareness in nature; tracking, trapping, and stalking techniques; and much more. Experience a session and come away with increased confidence, awareness, and connection to the natural world.
Perfect for beginners, as well as for those looking to expand their knowledge and abilities. For those with familiarity/past experience with these skills, please note that Joe will cater each session to your skill level.
We love returning participants!
