CPT Application/Renewal Period for Session 2 2019 (10/21/2019- 01/05/2020) NOW OPEN!

Hello International Students!

Happy Fall! We hope your Fall courses are going well and everyone is enjoying the new changes of the seasons.

The International Affairs Department is now accepting new CPT and CPT renewal applications from students interested in participating in Curricular Practical Training (CPT) for the 2019 Fall semester, Session 2 start (October 21, 2019 to January 5, 2020). *If you already have CPT authorization until January 5, 2020, you will NOT need to renew at this time. Please check your most recent CPT I-20 to confirm*

An important reminder, it is the responsibility of all F-1 students that plan to continue their CPT or apply for CPT to submit all required documents (see below) every semester. Incomplete CPT paperwork will be returned and your application will not be processed until the completed documents are submitted. Please note that missing CPT paperwork and/or failing to meet the academic requirements for CPT will cause processing delays and may even result in your application being denied.

CPT Application Dates:

September 30- October 11th- Normal Processing  - Complete applications submitted by this date will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis once all the Early Bird applications are complete. Please note that processing may take longer based on the number of applications received. For new students in their first session/semester, we will need to review your grades in your current classes in order to make a proper judgment on if you are on track to meet the Academic Requirements.

No CPT applications will be accepted after October 11. Students that miss the deadline will need to wait until the next available CPT period.
