APOST Fall Conference: Thank you!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, presented, and contributed to the APOST Fall Conference last week. This year's 2019 APOST Fall Conference had over 130 attendees, even more than last year! Special thanks to the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Arts Education Center for hosting us, and to the APOST-ers who kept everything running smoothly.

Be sure to check out our Facebook page for photos of the day's events, and feel free to share your photos by tagging us on social media! We've also put together a special blog post with all of the slides, handouts, and resources from our conference workshop presenters. You can check it out by clicking here@APOSTpgh #APOSTFallConference

After School Alliance has partnered with NRPA and AHG to release a new issue brief, Afterschool: Fostering Protective Factors that Can Last a Lifetime, which delves into the ways programs promote protective factors: providing safe and supportive environments to youth, helping students grow bonds with staff and peers, and building up confidence, agency, responsible decision making, as well as interpersonal skills.
