The B2B, our newsletter, for which, you, our valued member can communicate what’s new and what you want to get out to the wider business community. It could be an open house you are hosting, extended hours, charity function, new services/ products, etc.

Please share information for the newsletter no later than the 26th of each month by emailing info@gacc.ca. Documents sent must be in word or jpeg format. The newsletter will be sent out on the first Tuesday of each month.

This month's Chamber Chat submission is by the ontrac Team.  If you wish to contribute to Chamber Chat, please contact the Chamber office at 613-623-6817 or by email at info@gacc.ca.
 

The Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) is a program designed to help employers invest in training for their existing or potential employees.  If approved, Employers with less than 100 employees can be reimbursed 5/6 of the training costs (this includes tuition, travel, textbooks/required supplies, exam fees, and mandatory student fees).  Employers with over 100 employees can be reimbursed 1/2 of the training cost.  COJG will support up to $10,000 per trainee.  Training must be less than one year in duration and not required by law.  If you have any training in mind, ontrac encourages Employers to give us a call and we can help you determine if training is eligible for the Canada-Ontario Job Grant! ontrac can also help Employers with the application process if the training is appropriate for funding. 

Chamber Update
The Chamber would like to thank all the businesses that joined us for Arnprior and McNab/Braeside Night at the Races on Thursday, September 19th.  The Pruners were the lucky winners of our 50/50 draw taking home $242.50.  Thanks for supporting the Chamber! 

Up Coming Chamber Events
The GACC is excited to host 2 events during Small Business Week which takes place October 20th - 26th.  These events would not have been possible without our generous sponsors.  Thank-you for your support!  See below for more information on our events. We hope to see you there!
The GACC is excited to host Arnprior's Fall Fest!
 
As part of Arnprior's Fall Fest, the Chamber has secured a downtown location for businesses who do not have a store front.  Booths are available at 124 John Street North at no cost to members, and $20 for non-members.  To register for the SBW Showcase, please contact Julie at 613-623-6817 or email at info@gacc.ca.

In an effort to encourage shopping, strolling and exploring Arnprior many businesses will be open later (until 8pm) on Thursday, October 24th. Double stamp night on the shop local cards, in store specials and lots of fun await!
