Meet our Student Ambassadors

The Academies of Shakopee Student Ambassador program consists of a group of dedicated students who serve as advocates and student leaders throughout our school, academies and community. Student ambassadors provide tours to visitors, interact with our community and share all of the wonderful experiences happening within the academies. Students participating in the ambassador program gain the following characteristics and skills: confidence, professionalism, leadership, communication, inspiration, empowerment and passion. Shakopee Realtors Tour Academies of Shakopee

Our student ambassadors recently led Shakopee Realtors on a tour of the high school. The real estate agents had the chance to visit classrooms, talk with teachers, and see firsthand how the academies are preparing students for college and/or career. Shakopee High School Receives Two National Architecture Awards

Shakopee High School was named the Grand Prize Winner at the 20^th Annual Education Design Showcase, which is hosted by School Planning & Management. The judges noted the high school’s makerspace and how the structure compliments the academies. Another accolade came from the American School & University. The organization named Shakopee High School’s renovation and addition an “Outstanding Design.” Wold Architects and Engineers designed the high school’s renovation and addition, which was completed in the fall of 2018.
