FACILITATOR' S MESSAGE
The City of Rockville will conduct a Vote by Mail election this fall for mayor and four councilmembers. With Vote by Mail, ballots are mailed to all registered voters at their address of record, who return them by postage-paid mail or to a secure ballot drop box at City Hall.

Ballots will be sent to registered voters on or before Oct. 11. If you do not receive a ballot by Oct. 18, call 240-314-8286.

All ballots must be received at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave., by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 to be counted. Postmarks do not count. Ballots can be returned:
  • By Postage-paid Mail: Ballots must be received by 8 p.m. Nov. 5.
  • 24/7 Drop Box: Drop off your completed ballot anytime, 24/7, before 8 p.m. Nov. 5, at the election drop box in the upper parking lot of City Hall.
  • Vote Center: Register and vote at City Hall from 7 a.m.-8 p.m., Nov. 5. City Hall will be the only vote center.

King Farm Neighbors Village

Congratulations to KFNV for officially launching! Beginning October 1, the village will begin providing local transportation, friendly visits and friendly phone calls to its King Farm members! Volunteers have been trained and are ready to serve.

Pump House Village

 
All East Rockville residents are invited to bring their favorite sudsy beverage for the Village's Octoberfest! Soft drinks will be provided for the younger villagers. All are welcome! Ask how you can get involved in the village!

The village meets the 1st Sunday of the month at  3PM at the Pump House located on 401 South Horners Lane.

The Twinbrook Village is sponsoring a televised Rockville candidates' forum on Tuesday, October 15, 6:00 pm  at the Twinbrook Community Center. The event is in partnership with the Twinbrook Community Association.

Quarterly Forum Recap
Leaders from the three Rockville villages and representatives from RAVE came together on September 21 to share experiences, challenges and triumphs in their development process. The group discussed technology, volunteer management and ideas for guest speakers at the next forum in early December.

Bethesda Metro Area Village
Speaker Series

Village members and friends are invited to Bethesda Metro Area Village's next Speaker Series on Sunday, November 3, 3-5 pm, at Connie Morella Library. Local historian and author Bill Offutt will be speaking and showing slides on Civil War history in Bethesda and Montgomery County. Offutt is the author of Bethesda: A Social History and A History of Montgomery County as well as numerous articles for local newspapers and for Montgomery History.
