• Walk with a friend or family that lives near you
• Ride the school bus? Walk to your bus stop!
• Fill out your SchoolPool Challenge card for the whole month of October. These went home on Friday. Check your backpacks!
• Tell your friends about walking to school and encourage them to as well

**Clyde Hill Elementary is not registering students**

If you have not already registered for activities, this is the week to do so. Fall classes will soon start. To register, click on the links below. Please do not call the school to register your student for fall programs.

• Eastside Drama Kids is pleased to return to Clyde Hill and are offering two classes at the Northwest Arts Center. Classes will be on Wednesdays from 12:30-1:30pm (a composite primary class for grades K-5) and 1:30-2:30pm (a musical for grades 1-5). Starting date is Wednesday, Oct. 16 for 9 weeks (no class on December 4 NWAC is closed), with the final class on Wednesday, December 18 being a Parent Day Performance. The cost for each class is $186.75 plus a $12.00 registration fee per student. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
• Chess Wizards will be at NWAC every Monday, from 2:35 - 3:35 p.m., starting October 7 through December 2. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR CHESS WIZARDS (Choose SeattleMetro area, then enter school zip code 98004, then select Clyde Hill Elementary) today to secure your spot!
• The ParisAcademy Northwest is offering a long-term French Immersion Club every Monday, starting October 21 through May 11, 2020. Review their flyer, visit their website for more information, or CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR PARISACADEMY. *Students in grades 1 - 5 are prioritized; Kindergarteners are permitted if space is available. 
• The American Academy of  Fine Arts provides basic drawing and painting skill class for K - 5 students every Tuesday afternoon at the Northwest Arts Center. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS.
• Young Whiz will be providing programs on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday beginning on October 9th. Please see their flyer for more information CLICK HERE TO REGISTER (scroll down to Clyde Hill Elementary on this page). 
• The Northwest Arts Center offers After School Activities and child care. Learn about their offerings here:

Bellevue Wolverines Girls Lacrosse
Please join BWGL for youth fall ball Sundays from 2:00-4:00 in October-November! We are excited to announce that we are investing in our youth program in the following ways:

• Developing a youth coaching curriculum, all coaches will be trained on it
• Recruited new board members to focus on the youth program
• Recruiting a new Director of Youth Lacrosse
• Recruiting another paid Head Coach for our 7^th/8^th grade teams
• Bringing back youth fall ball, coached by our high school coaches being assisted by parent coaches and varsity players

Help the Bellevue High School Band Boosters raise money by cleaning out your closets and garage. Goodwill is bringing a truck to BHS to accept donations of used goods. Normally, Goodwill does not pay when you donate your stuff, but they have a special program for schools. The more trucks we can fill, the more money to support the Bellevue High Band (and you'll get a donation tax receipt).
You can bring almost everything (OLD TVs, COMPUTERS, SMALL ELECTRONICS, RIPPED CLOTHING, BROKEN TOYS, etc. - what Goodwill can’t sell to the public, they sell to scrap dealers). Please note that items CANNOT be any bigger than an end table. Click here for additional exclusions. 

Do you need a weekend ski school program?
Join the Saturday Bellevue Ski School Program. Give your student a full day of skiing. All levels welcome - 2nd through 12th grade. Transportation provided by Bellevue School District and Coach. Discount pricing until Nov. 30th. Support your school. Up to 5% of every enrollment goes to your schools PTSA. What a great way to fund extra school activities. The Bellevue High School Cheer team is holding its annual Jr. Cheer Clinic on Friday, October 4.  A flyer with the pertinent information is attached. The clinic is open to all students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. If you have any questions about this event, please contact us at cmmail@gmail.com and sxplenge@yahoo.com.
Boys' Basketball Tryouts for the Bellevue Select Basketball feeder program on 9/22 and 9/23.  Registration can be found at www.bybahoops.org.  Open for grades 4-8.

Eastside Children’s Academy offers the highest caliber of support as an early childhood educational program and focuses on the needs of individual students.
