Fluent Technology welcomed as AMRC supporter
We’re thrilled to announce that Fluent Technology, the maker of a grant management system and a consultancy service for handling all aspects of grant-giving, has joined the AMRC as a supporter organisation.

Supporting PPI in industry-led research: charity guidance
New guidance, developed by the Charities Research Involvement Group and the Health Research Charities Ireland, helps charities to work with the pharmaceutical industry on public and patient involvement in research.

Labour Party announces new policy
Labour's new policy document 'Medicines for the Many’  proposes changes to prescription charges, generic medicines manufacturing, licensing, IP and several other measures. AMRC's chief executive warned that the proposals set out on intellectual property and licencing would put at risk our world-leading medical research sector.

£98m investment into UK researchers and small businesses
The investment by the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy will go towards developing talented researchers and supporting entrepreneurs that will tackle problems like Alzheimer’s, genetic birth defects, self-healing materials, ageing and long-term diseases.
