The next meeting of the Government-University-Industry Research Roundtable will be held on October 15th and 16th in Washington, DC. The title and focus of the meeting is Using Research and Technology to Address Compounding Disparities.
The meeting will take a multi-sectoral, interdisciplinary approach to understanding the dimensions and determinants of social disparities and understanding their intersections as necessary work towards equity and equality in the face of rapid technology innovation changing the future of work. We will consider questions to inform cross-sector collaboration and coordination between government, universities, and industry on their roles in working towards addressing the compounding socioeconomic effects of disparities in income, health, education, and digital connectivity. The meeting keynote will be delivered by Wayne Frederick, President of Howard University. Other speakers include:
