Bolts of Blue Campaign Extended Through October 11, 2019
We have exactly one week left in our Bolts of Blue Campaign.  We hope our families are reaching out to their community of supporters to assist us in meeting our goal.

We are excited to report that our Lutz Prep community has donated $113,092 as of this morning.

Share on Facebook and Other Social Meeting to Your Friends, Family, and Community
Have you checked out our new Lutz Preparatory School Facebook page?
Please like our page and then share our Bolts of Blue Campaign post on your personal Facebook page to get the word out to help us reach our goal.

Friends and Family Sample Letter for Donations
We have had a few parents ask for a sample letter to help their child(ren) spread the word to friends and family regarding the campaign.  Click HERE for a sample letter.

Check with Your Employer to See if they Match Donations
Many of our parents' employers will match dollar-for-dollar donations to non-profit organizations like Lutz Prep.  Check with your HR department to see if they offer this benefit.  We also encourage our families to reach out to local businesses in your community for sponsorships in addition to potential employer matching benefits.  Thank you to those families who have pursued this company matching option and DOUBLED their donation to support our school!

All Pro Dad's Breakfast
Hey Dads and Kids...Great breakfast last month!  Let's keep it going.  Join us for October's Lutz Prep/Lutz Pre-Prep All Pro Dad - Dad’s and Kid’s Breakfast.  This month's topic is "Creativity".  Big Idea: Creativity is how we express ourselves and use our minds, gifts, and abilities to better our lives and our community. It allows us to address challenges and provide solutions. It’s important to nurture creativity in our children.

Team up with other Lutz Prep dads and kids for a quick before-school breakfast on Wednesday, October 9:  doors open at 7:00 AM, program starts at 7:15 AM, and ends at 7:45 AM. It’s fun and it’s free.  You and your kids will be glad you came!  Great way to start the morning.  Contact Ryan Martin with any questions.

2019-20 PTA Reflections Program - Entries Due October 21st

The National PTA Reflections program encourages students of all grades and abilities to explore and be involved in the arts. Students reflect on a common theme and create original works of art in the categories of film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts.

Lutz Prep PTA is excited to announce our participation in the National PTA Reflections program again this year. The 2019-2020 theme is: Look Within. For more information watch this video.

Entries are due to Lutz Preparatory by Monday, October 21, 2019. For an overview of the type of entries, please click HERE for all the details.

Details on the rules, submission requirements, and paperwork needed for submission can be found HERE.

Also, every entry must be submitted with a copy of the work on a thumb drive. Submissions without thumb drives will be considered for Lutz Prep’s program, but they will not be moved to the county level.

Habit of the Month October

Each month our school will have one "habit of the month" that will be highlighted across all our grades.  October's habit is Begin With the End in Mind:  I plan ahead and set goals.  I do things that have meaning and make a difference.  I am an important part of my classroom and contribute to my school's mission and vision.  I look for ways to be a good citizen.
