Throughout the week of October 21-25th, Orleans Public Education Network (OPEN), along with advocates, educators and parents across the city, will host Public Education Week: the only event series dedicated to bringing the entire public into the public education system, and training citizens to navigate the system, advocate for change, and increase equity and excellence for all students. OneApp deadline for New Orleans families moved up by a month as district announces school changes

In a move to give parents more time to make plans for the following school year, New Orleans public school officials said the deadline to apply for schools through the centralized OneApp enrollment system has been moved up by a month for the 2020-21 school year. Read the full story here.
