A Global Climate Strike is a strange idea. Usually you strike against an employer. A good image for his strike is lightening. You see it strike and then you hear the thunder.

One striking feature of the climate change movement is the making of pledges and promises. Governments are doing it, companies are doing it and even individuals are doing it. Attached is the Laudato Si' pledge. Its worth a look
