We host our namesake, Stanley Kubrick's 1968 classic film. Prior to the movie, there will be a short performance of Stop Speaking for snare drum and laptop computer,  by Andy Akiho, featuring Orchestra 2001 percussionist Phillip O'Banion – our smaller version of "Open the pod bay doors, HAL" or "man vs. computer."

Ghost Ship – The Waterfront Arts Debut Installation

Starting Friday, October 4th

DRWC is excited to welcome the Waterfront Arts light and water hologram Ghost Ship , October 4 through November 3 at neighboring Race Street Pier. Later in the month, visit Orchestra 2001 in studio #8 on Cherry Street Pier to create your own "ghost music" on our theramin!

AVA Resident Artists, accompanied by AVA Master Vocal Coach Danielle Orlando, sing a single aria in competition with each other for prizes awarded by a professional panel of judges and the audience. Performers, repertoire and judges to be announced soon! Single tickets to Giargiari are available through The Kimmel Center's Box Office website or by calling 215-893-1999.
