#1. Learn How to Understand & Communicate in Classical Arabic for Beginners

Have you ever listened to a beautiful recitation of the Qur’an and wondered, “I wish I could understand the meaning behind those words…”

You aren’t alone.

Many of us wish to develop our ability to understand classical Arabic but do not have the means to do so.

AMA is proud to present the Arabic Program. This beginner level course will give you basic foundation for understanding classical Arabic.

This course will be taught by none other than Shaykh Munir Shalghum.

To benefit from this course you will need to:

1. Know the Arabic alphabet
2. Be committed to attending the class each and every week
3. Have a goal for wanting to understand the Qur’an without needing an English translation

You do not need to know how to speak Arabic to enroll in this course. Our teaching method will benefit you even if you cannot speak Arabic. This course is beginner-friendly.

Here is a small teaser of what you learn from this course:

1. Arabic sentence structure
2. Types of sentences in Arabic
3. Asking questions in different situations
4. Building vocabulary and forming sentences
5. Pointing nouns, prepositions, possessive nouns, adjectives, verb conjugations and much more

Here are the details for the upcoming Fall 2019 semester:

Date: Wednesdays starting from Oct. 9 , 2019 until Jan. 15, 2020

Time: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM each Wednesday

Location: Community hall of Masjid ar-Rahmah

Age: For men 18 years and older*

**We hope to provide a class exclusively for women in an upcoming semester, insha Allah.

Cost: $350 for the semester

#2. Our Next Blood Donor's Clinic is Coming Soon

This clinic is being organized and operated by the Canadian Blood Services and they will be at our masjid to receive blood donations.

We encourage you to come and donate your blood. Your support will help those in need, and you may even save a life with your generous donation.

Allah says in the Qur’an: “And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved all of mankind” (Chapter 5, Verse 32).
