Community Discussion on Gun Violence in Portland, Oregon


We welcome you to join a community dialogue facilitated and hosted by the Portland Committee on Community Engaged Policing- Race, Ethnicity & Other Subcommittee

We look forward to sharing the following: 
• A panel of individuals who’ve been personally impacted by gun violence 
• Portland Police-- Gun Violence Reduction Team (GVRT) to share the evolution from Gang Enforcement and efforts to respond to gun violence
• Small group discussions to be led by PCCEP members, soliciting solution based recommendations through community questions and/or concerns

*A Spanish translator and a hearing impaired interpreter will be on-hand

PCCEP welcomes input from community members. You can share your ideas during the public comment periods of the meeting. You can also provide your feedback to the PCCEP prior to the Community Discussion by emailing your input to PCCEPinfo@portlandoregon.gov. Your feedback will be shared with PCCEP members prior to the meeting.
