1.SHARPENING YOUR INTERPERSONAL SKILLS WORKSHOP - ETHIOPIA, 17-22 NOVEMBER 2019
This November 17-22 is a Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills (SYIS) workshop, hosted by SIL and International Training Partners. It will be held in Debre Zeit, near Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
If you desire biblical tools for improving your relational skills and creating life changes (in an interactive adult learning style), then SYIS in a great workshop for you.

2. SHARPENING YOUR INTERPERSONAL SKILLS WORKSHOP ACCRA, GHANA, 17-22 NOVEMBER 2019
WHO: This workshop is open to any Christians ministering cross-culturally. There is a limit of 24 participants per workshop.
LANGUAGE: English
WHAT: Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills (SYIS) is a workshop designed for Christian workers from any country or agency. Using principles based on Scripture, the SYIS addresses the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to strengthen our relationships with others. What are the areas where we may need to grow? Topics will include: loving listening, drawing others out, helping others solve problems, confrontation, managing conflicts, grief, stress, margin, moral purity and encouragement.
WHEN: 17-22 November 2019
Participants should plan to be present:
- For registration and an introductory meeting on Sunday, 17th November (3:30 pm – 5:30 pm).
- All day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (8:30 am – 5:30 pm) and then on Friday morning until 12 noon.
The SYIS workshop is very interactive and includes a good amount of reading in preparation for each day's sessions. Please do not plan to do other work during the evenings.
