Our kids gather weekly at 9am starting this week! We gather together, learn about Jesus, and have fun. Kids ages 4-4th grade are welcome!

Technically this week, we aren't having the Hard Questions discussions group since Pastor Aaron will not be here - however, since the kids are meeting, if parents would like something to do during the discipleship hour, let's sit together and have coffee and visit! We may end up with an "unofficial" hard questions gathering.

Looking for an opportunity to serve? Our United Methodist Men head to the Dorothy Day house every 5th Sunday to serve a meal. Reach out to AJ Neuvirth if you're interested in serving!

9/29 is a 5th Sunday - which means we will be taking up an offering for apportionments. These are funds that we pay to the Minnesota Annual Conference, our governing body. The amount that we pay every year is approximately $180 per member per year. There are packets available at the front desk from the conference with more information on these funds and where they go.

We have 20 spots reserved for a packing session in Eagan on Saturday 10/12 from 11:30am-1:30pm. Contact us if you'd like to join our group! Kids ages 5+ can pack, and there are low mobility jobs available. We can meet at the church at 10am, and carpool/train up together.

There are so many moving parts every Sunday morning and many hands and feet that make our services happen. Instead of having separate signups for every job, we now have a MASTER signup sheet found at the welcome center. Drop by and sign up to help serve communion, run slides, help in the nursery, etc! We can't do it without you - and we are SO appreciative of the time given to serve here at Homestead. Are you new to volunteering at Homestead? GREAT! We'd love to get you into a position that suits your spiritual gifts.
