Hidden in Plain Sight

Thank you to everyone who came out for the presentation, Hidden in Plain Sight. Look for more events and presentations by the SAFIR Coalition and our partners in the community.

SAFIR Youth Coalition

Students at Vero Beach High School and Sebastian River High School are welcome to join the brand new SAFIR Youth Coalition. Our first group was held Friday, Aug 9th, but you can find us next time on Sunday, 8/25 at 4:00 at the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

In this coalition, we will surround our teens with positive activities to develop leadership skills and talents while teaching the importance of living a #SubstanceAbuseFree lifestyle.

The next Youth Coalition meeting will be on Tuesday, October 1st at 7 pm at the Sheriff’s Office. The SAFIR Youth Coalition will meet every other Tuesday night at 7 pm.
Members from our SAFIR Youth Coalition went to Friday's VBHS football game to help give information out about community health and wellness trends related to underage substance abuse and misuse.

Let’s help guide our youth to make a personal commitment to living above the influence. If interested in more information on joining the youth coalition, please call or text Phyllis Schneider at 772.538.6106 or email pschneider@sacirc.org
