📝 Leading national organizations announce template for suicide prevention plans for schools

Suicide prevention among young people is a growing concern across the country. According to the National Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS), 17.2 percent of American high school students reported they have seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year. Having clear suicide prevention policies and procedures in place, schools can act to reduce the risk of suicide and save more young lives — so we worked with leaders in the space to create a template for school suicide prevention policies.

💃 Drag brunch for a cause

What’s better than drag brunch? Drag brunch raising funds for our life-saving work! This summer, we’ve continued our Brunch Out With Trevor series in New York, Austin, and have our final brunch coming up this fall in Philadelphia. TrevorLIVE galas are The Trevor Project’s premier bi-annual fundraising events, which celebrate our life-saving work and our mission to end LGBTQ youth suicide. The galas bring together celebrities, corporate partners, and allies for a moving night to support LGBTQ youth in crisis.
