Hello, Colleagues and Friends! Welcome to the October 2019 edition of the CHC Advocate. With this edition, we provide information on an exciting initiative we are involved in at the regional level with the UAB Clinical and Translational Sciences community-engagement work. Also, check out the information about the All of Us Research Program to learn more about this initiative and how to enroll.

We are proud of the 13 students who successfully completed the STARS and STRIPES summer enrichment program. Be sure to read about the event and check out the video of the students’ experiences.

We hope you find this newsletter useful and look forward to working with you in the future.

Thank you for all you do for the health of our community!
