This past Monday we had the Fall Equinox, a gateway into a new part of the year, representing balance, as daytime and night-time last for about the same number of hours all over the planet.
The Equinox ushers in a shift of seasons which you may be starting to feel within yourself. We can visibly see the shift happening as we see the leaves on the trees starting to change color, the final abundance of local summer produce from the farms, and the weather temperatures starting to become much cooler.
The natural world is slowly receding and breaking down after the glory of summer, animals are starting to migrate to warmer climates or hibernate, and plants and vegetation no longer grow in great abundance. All of these things are recognizable signs of the shifts of the seasons and the cyclical experience of life on earth.
Since our human-selves are one with the Earth, we often go through changes at these times of the seasonal shifts. Our own internal cycles could be completing themselves. Perhaps you may feel driven to finish up certain projects as soon as possible. Or, it could be that you are feeling a relationship is coming to a close, or that you finally need to say something to the person at work who has been bothering you for the last three months.
During this time we can feel the desire to energetically let go and free ourselves up from things that have happened in our lives since the 2019 Spring Equinox, this past March. Perhaps something has not gone so well and you feel bad about it; perhaps you still feel guilty for something that you had said to someone. Perhaps you are feeling your limitations and a lack of self-worth around a work-related incident. Whatever it is that keeps going around and around in your head or in your heart, now is the time to transmute it, so that you can make room for new energy and allow new ways to enter in this new season.
I know this is not always easy to complete alone; it can sometimes feel like you have an urge to let go but you really do not know where to begin or how to achieve these feelings of change. This is where I can help. The sessions that I offer can support people going through the challenges of change and of letting go. Nothing is too big, too small, or too trivial to be worked through. I have seen many different things in my practice; and there is always a deeper understanding that comes through for even for the most mundane problem.
So, as we enter into the fall of 2019, now is a great time to take advantage of the cycles and shifts to work towards becoming a more balanced, happier, freer version of you.
