Services Highlight

The Center for Healing Neurology has invested in some very unique services that you can access to expedite your healing and optimize your health. These are therapies vetted by our neurologist for their capacity to effectively improve outcomes. Ask us if they are safe & right for you.
CNS Vital Signs is neurocognitive testing you can use to get an objective measurement of how well (or not) different domains of your brain are working. This computer test can be completed in our office or be sent as a remote link you can access from the comfort of your familiar home environment and gives a total Neurocognitive Index that we can track over time to evaluate our interventions as well target therapies to the weakest 'muscles' within your cognitive function. Cost is for the test itself + 30 minute visit with one of our practitioners to review results. You don't have to be an established patient to access this service. You don't have to live locally- both the test and the follow up can be done online through our secure portals. Click here for more info: https://www.centerforhealingneurology.com/product/cognitive-testing/
The Vasper System combines compression, liquid cooling, and interval training to drive your body’s production of growth and recovery hormones, delivering the most significant benefits of high-intensity exercise in an efficient and low-impact 21-minute workout. Best results come with 10 sessions within 3 weeks, but this program can be modified for your needs and abilities. You don't need to be 'an exerciser' and you don't have to be an established patient to use the Vasper. Sessions are available throughout the work week for your convenience. COMING SOON: The Podcast for Healing Neurology. Be sure you are on the newsletter list so you can get notified when sessions are released & hear it first! Let your friends and family know so you can discuss topics together. We'll talk about all things health, medicine and life. No topic too big or too small and, yes, we are taking requests- what do you want to know more about? Email us at podcast@centerforhealingneurology.com. Let's get curious (and probably a little messy) in exploring our world. It's what we're here to do and we're excited to do this with you.

Latest Research Findings

Psychobiotics! The role of 'microbial neurochemicals. We think of ourselves as one 'person' but we are a teeming hive of microorganisms. In fact, there are more of the 'them' then there are of 'us' as microorganisms out-number the cells in our body 10:1. Turns out, research is showing that they can impact our thinking, feeling, perceptions and desires too! We've known this for a long time with infections like rabies that make a person go 'mad' while the virus migrates to the saliva and waits hopefully for the next host to be bit and with toxoplasma, which also has some very interesting research showing impact on the amygdala (our emotional center) and centers for attraction that trigger toxo-infected rats to seek out cats against their very own will to live! What organisms are in your gut and what are they telling you to eat, do, feel or be? We can do a variety of stool testing at our neurology clinic for this very reason (https://www.gdx.net/product/gi-effects-comprehensive-stool-test), but if you just would like some mental food for now, check out these fun articles for more details:
