Boarding school can be a life-changing option, however the decision can be a tough one particularly if your child has mainstream learning differences like ADHD or Dyslexia. Our Boarding School Evening is designed to help you better navigate those choices. The evening will include:
- A parent panel sharing personal experiences with boarding school choices and outcomes
- School representatives describing their unique programs, learning support and summer options.
- Plenty of time to find answers to your questions in an intimate and supportive environment.
Please join us to explore the breadth of exciting learning opportunities available for students who learn differently and to gain a better sense of the right fit between your child and the boarding school setting.
Discussion themes:
- How do I evaluate the trade-off between sending my child away from home and the potential benefit of a better learning environment?
- Would my child be better off in a mainstream school with learning support or a school specifically for SpLD and/or AD/HD?
- How much individual attention should my child receive?
- What is the right age for sending my child to boarding school...junior or senior boarding?
- What are the benefits of a co-educational or single-sex school?
Nov. 4th Participating Schools:
