Qantas First Lounge, Changi Singapore (render)

Hello travellers,

Off to Adelaide

I'm in Adelaide for most of next week, accompanying my husband on a business trip, and catching up with friends and family. I won't be getting a post out of this trip, as we are staying at our regular haunt: the Adelaide Intercontiental, and flying the usual Qantas economy, so nothing to see there! However, you might get some food porn, as we are set to visit a couple of interesting Adelaide restaurants.

What happened last week?

The big news of last week was the failure of Thomas Cook, the 178 year old travel agent going bust and stranding about 600,000 travellers worldwide.

I also reviewed the Stamford Hotel in Adelaide, in my continuing series on Adelaide Hotels.

What's coming up?

The other big news is the investment by Delta Airlines in LATAM, and more importantly, LATAM dropping out of the OneWorld alliance. I'm working on a post to cover that, and the implications it may have for Australian travellers, and the association between Qantas and LATAM. So that's something to look forward to for this week.

Expect more posts from the Honeymoon Trip to South America

I promise to try and get the first reviews from Fiji and Fiji Airways up this week as well.

Catch up on last weeks post below. Until next week . . .

Happy Travels,

2PAXfly

Introduction Regular readers would know that I travel monthly between Sydney and Adelaide. I grew up in Adelaide, and my close family and a few friends are still there. I also have some work connections, so I tend to combine a visit to see my family with a bit of work. Although a creature of […]
