It Takes a Village to Help Any Project Succeed - A GMWB Appreciation Post
Dear <<First Name>>

As the hectic schedule of the completion and launch of the Global Mobility Workbook starts to wind up, I thought I would do one final behind-the-scenes appreciation of the hard work that has gone into making this book happen.

If you remember, I mentioned last time that writing the book just isn’t the full story. There is marketing, sales and so much more that my friends and team members have executed into bringing this book from an idea to an actual finished product. I am extremely grateful to them for their hard work and for bearing with me during these stressful times.

Then, of course, there was the input from students and industry professionals that was indispensable in revising the book to meet the requirements of 2019 and beyond. I am grateful that they provided the feedback that would let me revisit “The Global Mobility Workbook” and improve it to the level that makes me proud not just as an author but also as a GM professional.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I would like to wholeheartedly thank every single reviewer who took the time to read, analyse and review “The Global Mobility Workbook”.

In an increasingly algorithm-driven world, so much of success hinges on “digital word-of-mouth”, which is where reviewers play the pivotal role in getting the honest, critical word out to a wide range of audiences. Without you, dear reviewers, this book would not be reaching the people that it has!

I would like to end on a note of excitement, as the launch party is here! I am humbled by the sheer number of people who will be making space in their busy schedules to attend the event. Words cannot do justice to my feelings but I will try to express them personally at the party.

Best wishes,

Angie.
